Quickstart Guide
Jump from your Discovery’s results to the “Workspace” where you can create “Sections” that act like tabs in a notebook. The “Bookmark” and “Snippet” managers can be found in the “meatball” menu next to the Discovery title. Select something to attach to the section(s) of your choosing.
TAVA Discovery results look a lot different than traditional search results. Mainly, TAVA eliminates ads, SEM-promoted content and algorithmic bias in our results. We’ll show the results from all the sources on one screen or side-by-side, if you prefer.
Starting a Discovery is as easy as entering some text into the “Let’s Start Discovering” box. Simply type in some search terms and TAVA will search Google, Bing, and Yahoo at the same time. From there, give your Discovery a name and that will open a separate window for that Discovery.
TAVA is about insight. Use the Discovery Directory to return to past Discoveries. Review updated searches. Add new notes, sections, bookmarks, snippets, and even attachments, (documents, slide decks, and spreadsheets).
Use the “Gear” menu to invite a partner or co-worker as an “Affiliate.” Once affiliated, you can invite them to share your Discovery using the “plus ball” in the Discovery Workspace.
